EPCOT Morning

After riding Test Track, we did some window shopping at Mouse Gears. We then walked right on Mission: Space green team.

As we were walking by Chip and Dale were out so we got our pictures taken with them. It was then on to Journey into Imagination with Figment. There was actually a 10 min wait for this attraction. I heard that there is a possibility of a refurbishment and the Figment comic book may play a part in it insomuch as if there is still an interest in Dream Finder, he may return! I hope this is the case and that we also get a return of Figment Meet and Greets.

Next up is the classic: Captain EO. There is not much of a crowd here for this show right now.

Disney Magic

We received some Disney magical treatment this morning! We took a bus from Saratoga Springs to Hollywood Studios with the intention of taking the boat from Hollywood Studios to the Beach Club for breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Our bus driver must be new as he had another cast member training him. We were the last people off the bus and as we exited the trainer wished us a good day at the Studios. I smiled and said it will be a short trip since we are going to breakfast.

The trainer pulled me aside and asked where we were going. I told him and he got on his radio and spoke with dispatch. He got the ok to drive us directly to the Beach Club! He said he route was slow this morning and this would only take him 3 minutes.

We got to the restaurant in record time and the trainer talked with us on the trip over as he has been a cast member for a while and shared some of his experiences. It was truly magical!

Even More Characters

The theme of the night was characters. After getting my picture with the Queen of Hearts I got my picture taken with the group of Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet. The group was wearing Halloween costumes. I then waited in a decent size line and got a picture with the Seven Dwarfs.

I then returned to Adventureland and had my picture taken with Jasmine and Genie from Aladdin. I am ending by having my picture taken with Mickey Mouse in his Halloween costume.

More Characters

We got pictures with Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse in their Halloween costumes. We then did some trick or treating and found Donald Duck in his pumpkin outfit with Goofy. Goofy was in his typical outfit from the Silly Sideshow. We then found the Mad Hatter and later Lotso from Toy Story in between trick or treat stops. While we were in line for Mad Hatter, Hallowishes started and it was cool to watch from behind the castle. The ending was cool as fireworks were literally all around us. I am trying to find the Queen of Hearts. I had found her but line was being closed. Was given a time of 10:20 for her return so I’m camping out and waiting in the spot where she was.

Characters

The next characters that we met were Aladdin with Abu. We then met Jafar in a separate line. We did some trick or treating before stumbling on the witch from Snow White. Now we are waiting for Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse in their Halloween costumes

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

They started things early this evening. I went a little after 5 PM to the Frontier Trading Post to get in line for the pin sales and they already had them out. I got the complete set in the pumpkin box and the limited edition Magic Band. I also was able to get the Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom collector card for the party at around this same time. They started selling the limited edition party t-shirts in the Emporium at 6 PM. I lined up for Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and they came out at 6 PM as well.

Magic Kingdom

It has been a busy first day in Walt Disney World. As we finished having our snack at the Artist Palate, I got the text that our room was ready. We checked in and then headed to Magic Kingdom where we got our annual passes as it was time to renew as well as our tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

We then went back and used out fast passes for The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. It was then time to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel with our next Fastpass. We then did standby for the Haunted Mansion. Usually we Fastpass this so it was nice being able to take pictures of the items in the standby cue.

It was then time for Peter Pan’s Flight with our Fastpass as that is my favorite. We then went and had our pictures taken with Peter Pan at the Adventureland Veranda.

We got our bands for the Halloween Party and then it was dinner time. We had a reservation at the Crystal Palace which is the character meal with Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet and of course Winnie the Pooh. We saw the characters fairly quickly and the food was very good as they had veggie selections and fish.
