Tuesday, December 9, 2014 was Magic Kingdom day for us. Our day started with 9 AM breakfast reservations to Cinderella’s Royal Table. I had the lobster crepe which was very good. Our picture with Cinderella came out great. During the meal we were visited by Ariel, Snow White, Aurora and Jasmine.

After breakfast we played some of the Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom and did the photo op at Castle Couture which we didn’t even know was there before this. It was then time to use our Fast pass to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall.

There was only a 5 minute wait for Pirates of the Carribean so we went on this ride. Next we used the fast pass given to us by the cast member to go on the Jingle Cruise version of the Jungle Cruise. Our skipper was hilarious. He was probably one of the best I’ve seen.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was our next stop using our fast pass we had for the attraction. At this point we had time until our next Fast pass so we decided to wait in line for Anna and Elsa.

After dropping my packages off back at the resort, I headed to EPCOT where we had 4:55 PM dinner reservations at the Biergarten. This included the Candlelight Processional package for the 8:15 show. We got to see the band perform at the Biergarten while we were there which was nice.

We attended the 8:15 PM Candlelight Processional which is always moving and well done. The narrator was LeVar Burton who did a tremendous job. After the Processional we called it a day as it was raining slightly and it had become quite cool out.

After lunch we used our fast passes for Star Tours. The sequence was: Millennium Falcon, Wookie Planet (Kashyyk), Admiral Ackbar, Boba Fett, Death Star & Rebel Ship.

Even though it was raining they did hold Lights, Motor, Action and we used our fast pass for the show. I was surprised they did the entire show including the fire scenes but the rain had died down by then. After that we took pictures of the nativity scene which is in a more prominent location this year.

We stopped by a gift shop and I found the Happy Holidays t-shirt and hoodie in my size. I learned that if you see your size buy it or else you might not find it again.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post was our next stop and just outside of it Santa Goofy was taking pictures so we got photos with him. Once inside Wandering Oaken’s I got the Aurasma picture with the trolls and Sven. I then bought the Christmas Olaf magic band.

Toy Story Midway Mania was our next stop with our fast passes. The game glitched at the end and didn’t let me shoot in the bonus round so my score wasn’t as good.

We ended our time at Hollywood Studios by going to Mickey’s of Hollywood where I found the Baymax limited edition magic band. Now mind you I don’t need another magic band but I bought it! I also bought some pins I don’t have and some Christmas gifts. I also traded for two pins I don’t have: a baby Peter Pan and a Duffy with Sultan hat pin.

I am heading back to the resort to drop off all of my loot before heading to EPCOT for dinner at the Biergarten.

I slept until 7 AM this morning and it was great getting some rest after being up so early on Sunday. Unfortunately it is a gloomy weather day here at Walt Disney World. It has been raining off and on this morning but not so severe…just showers.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is our destination today and upon arriving to the park we went to the animation area and got in line for the Big Hero Six meet and greet. The line started at 9:30 AM when the characters come out at 10:30. We got a place in line and then took turns going to see Minnie Mouse in her dressing room.

After meeting Minnie and having a wait we got to meet Hiro and Baymax. Baymax is so cool and he gives you a hug! They don’t sign autographs so they give you a card as you enter the cue. We then went on the Great Movie Ride which is always a favorite.

At this point we were hungry and got lunch at the ABC Commissary. For dessert we got the cupcakes as there is a Santa Mickey ears cupcake and an Olaf cupcake.

This afternoon we have fast passes for Star Tours; Lights, Motor, Action; and Toy Story Midway Mania.

At the Chase character spot we had our pictures taken with Mickey and Goofy. They really liked my Christmas Mickey Mouse sweatshirt.

Next we used our fast passes for Soarin followed by Living With the Land which has nice Christmas decorations. We then visited Figment at Journey Into Imagination with Figment.

We then used the fast pass I received from the cast member to go on Test Track. It was then time to use our Fast passes for Mission Space. There were only two of us in our pod so I did three of the roles.

Tonight for dinner we have reservations at the Garden Grill which is a character meal with Farmer Mickey, Pluto, and Chip & Dale.

So at the end of all of that fuss they gave us a Fast pass for Be Our Guest for Thursday. They juggled my Thursday fast passes to make the times work. For my troubles I was given a bonus fast pass today at EPCOT and 2 bonus Fast passes for Tuesday at Magic Kingdom. How it works is I can go on any ride and get on it immediately. Too bad it doesn’t work for Anna and Elsa lol. So after that mess I played a portal of Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom so I could get my daily cards. By now I was starving so I got an Olaf Rice Krispie treat in the gift shop as a snack as we headed to EPCOT on the monorail.

As we entered EPCOT we took pictures of the Christmas decorations before using our Fast Pass for EPCOT Character Spot to see Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. We then stopped into the new Starbucks which used to be Fountain View…I wasn’t impressed.

Next is the Chase Character Spot at Innoventions.

Well the issue with our magic bands has spilled over into my fast pass plus reservation for Be Our Guest for lunch. It is completely wiped out and gone. No one has been able to help me up until this point. I’ve been told by concierge at hotel, guest relations at Magic Kingdom and Be Our Guest that they can’t help. Im now with the Fast pass people and they are looking into it.

So we were at the bus stop to head to the Magic Kingdom and we had a decent wait time. The bus pulled up and we literally were about to step on the bus when I got the text that our room was ready. So we headed back in to the lobby and they gave us our room number. When we got to our room our magic bands didn’t work. So we headed back to the front desk and the manager has to take our magic bands back to his computer but he did get them to work. So we got settled in our room and are now headed to the Magic Kingdom.

We have arrived at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. We are checked in but our room isn’t ready yet. We had some issues with our magic bands as they didn’t seem to be linked but should be now. We are going to head to Magic Kingdom now for the rest of the morning

Last night, December 6, 2014, we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Philadelphia by the airport. We got up this morning at 2:30 AM (yawn) and got ready. We are now at Philadelphia International Airport where we have a 6:00 AM flight to Orlando, FL. We will be down in Florida until Friday, December 12th. The plan for today is to go to EPCOT once we settle in.
